Meet the Team

  • Joshua Sidis

    CEO

    Joshua Sidis founded EAS-MJ in 2022 after more than a decade of impactful public service in New York City government. As Senior Advisor in the NYC Mayor’s Office of Operations, he led major initiatives to address food insecurity, provide emergency cooling support to vulnerable populations, and expand access to COVID-19 vaccinations through fixed and mobile sites. He has worked across every policy domain and understands how to navigate and drive change within large, complex organizations.

  • Jorge Montalvo

    PRESIDENT

    Jorge I. Montalvo has over two decades of experience in senior policy and management roles across city and state government, including serving as Deputy Secretary of State for Economic Opportunity. He was the founding Executive Director of the New York State Office for New Americans and led the statewide Empire State Poverty Reduction Initiative. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer for one of the largest independent physician groups in the U.S. A Dartmouth graduate, Montalvo remains committed to community service, teaching free GED and SAT prep classes to youth in the South Bronx.

  • Ram Raju, M.D.

    Dr. Ram Raju

    PRINCIPAL ADVISOR

    Dr. Ram Raju is a physician executive with decades leading the nation’s largest urban healthcare systems including Northwell Health New York, NYC Health and Hospitals, and the Cook County Health System in Chicago. Additionally Dr. Raju has served as a leader in many local, regional and national organizations including as past Vice-Chair of the Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA), as board of Trustees of America's Essential Hospitals and Healthcare Association of NY State (HANYS). He is president of Asian Health Care Leaders Association (AHCLA) and Board Trustee of the American Hospital Association (AHA).

  • Kristi Brown

    IMPLEMENTATION LEAD

    Kristi Brown has nearly two decades of experience working in the public and nonprofit sectors, with over ten years in NYC government. Most recently she served as Chief of Staff at the NYC Mayor’s Office of Operations. Kristi also has extensive experience in data strategy, policy analysis, performance and project management, strategic planning, process improvement and service design. Kristi is an alumnae of the Coro Leadership New York program and serves on the board of directors of Photoville.
